After a few years spent near the Mediterranean, we decided to get closer to our roots, Alésiennes for David, Ardéchoises for me. It was when we stepped through the property’s high gates that we knew we’d be spending the rest of our lives here, with one desire: to share this place with its very special atmosphere.
In 2022, we created Les Dames de Saint Florent, a benchmark guest house accredited by the Gard Tourisme commission.
Named after its construction in 1795, “Le Château” is a building steeped in history, located in the center of Saint-Florent-sur-Auzonnet. Ideally located in the north of the Gard department, the village is close to the lower Ardèche, and its valley is one of the gateways to the Cévennes, an international starry sky reserve renowned for the purity of its celestial vault.
We moved in with all modern comforts in 3 bedrooms and a gîte for 2, preserving the old-fashioned spirit of the house in the heart of a 3500 m2 park planted with trees.
To offer you the best possible service, we are constantly evolving, and for this new 2024 season, we are offering you a relaxation area with sauna and massage salon.
From the immersed benches to the Cévennes garden, from the gourmet room to the old-fashioned terrace, from the surprise cellars to the mysterious well, we hope that every part of our home will be a delight for our guests.
